# Lizenzierung und Update-Server-Konfiguration überprüfen

So überprüfen Sie die Verbindung zum VergeOS-Update-Server und beheben Lizenzierungskonfigurationsprobleme, einschließlich Anmeldeinformationen und Auswahl der Update-Quelle.

Eine gültige Lizenzkonfiguration ist erforderlich, um Workloads und NAS-Dienste auszuführen und System-Updates durchzuführen. Normale Lizenzierung und Updates erfordern eine Verbindung und Authentifizierung bei einem VergeOS Update-Server.

## Verbindung zu einem VergeOS Update-Server überprüfen

1. Navigieren Sie vom Haupt-Dashboard zu **System > Aktualisierungen**. Dadurch gelangen Sie zum Updates-Dashboard.
2. Klicken Sie auf **Nach Updates suchen** im linken Menü.
3. Überprüfen Sie eine grüne Anzeige im ***Status*** Feld. Eine fehlgeschlagene Verbindung wird durch einen roten Status und eine Fehlermeldung im Statusfeld angezeigt.
4. Wenn der Status nicht grün ist:
   * klicken Sie auf **Einstellungen bearbeiten** im linken Menü.
   * Überprüfen Sie **den korrekten Benutzer/das Passwort für die Lizenzierung**. Wenn Sie sich über Ihre Lizenzierungs-Zugangsdaten unsicher sind, wenden Sie sich an Ihren VergeOS-Vertriebs- oder Support-Ansprechpartner.
   * Überprüfen Sie **Update-Quelle**
     * für Heimlabore und POC-Installationen (nicht zum Weiterverkauf): ***Verge.io Test/NFR***
     * für normale Produktionslizenzen: ***Verge.io-Updates***
   * Überprüfen Sie **Internetverbindung** vom VergeOS-System.
