# Cách sử dụng Tầng ưu tiên

Khi tạo hoặc sửa đổi ổ đĩa máy ảo (VM) trong VergeOS, người dùng có thể đặt một **Tầng ưu tiên**. Trong hầu hết các trường hợp, mục này được để ở **mặc định**, có thể được cấu hình trong **Hệ thống > Cài đặt hệ thống > Tầng ổ đĩa VM mặc định**. Tuy nhiên, hành vi của hệ thống khi một tầng được chỉ định không tồn tại có thể không như mong đợi. Sau đây là cách VergeOS xác định sẽ sử dụng tầng nào trong những trường hợp như vậy:

* **Đặt tầng ưu tiên thành một tầng cao hơn không tồn tại**:
  * Ví dụ: Nếu người dùng chọn **Tầng 3** trong một hệ thống chỉ có **Tầng 1** và **Tầng 4** dung lượng lưu trữ khả dụng, hệ thống sẽ cố gắng chọn tầng cao hơn kế tiếp (chậm hơn). Trong trường hợp này, hệ thống sẽ mặc định là **Tầng 4**.
* **Đặt tầng ưu tiên thành một tầng thấp hơn không tồn tại**:
  * Ví dụ: Nếu người dùng chọn **Tầng 3** trong một hệ thống chỉ có **Tầng 1** và **Tầng 2** dung lượng lưu trữ, hệ thống sẽ chọn tầng thấp hơn kế tiếp (nhanh hơn). Trong trường hợp này, hệ thống sẽ mặc định là **Tầng 2**.

Trong cả hai trường hợp, VergeOS đảm bảo rằng tầng khả dụng gần nhất được chọn dựa trên lựa chọn của người dùng.
