Customizing the VergeOS User Interface#

Every layer of tenancy in VergeOS has the ability to customize its branding (if allowed). This guide will walk you through how to modify the user interface (UI) with your own branding elements, including logos, colors, and favicons.

How to Change the Branding#

Follow these steps to customize your VergeOS environment:

  1. Upload the desired logo in .png or .jpg format to Media Images. - For best results, use a 144x36 image for the large logo and 44x44 for the small logo.

  2. If desired, upload a favicon in .ico format to Media Images.

  3. From the Main Dashboard, navigate to System -> Settings -> Edit UI Branding.

  4. Check the "Enabled" box if it is unchecked to reveal the settings for custom branding.

Once enabled, you'll see several UI customization options.

Here are all the elements you can modify for VergeOS branding:

  • Background Color
  • Default: #303030
  • Custom Logo (Large)
  • Upload a .jpg or .png file with dimensions 144x36.
  • Custom Logo (Small)
  • Upload a .jpg or .png file with dimensions 44x44.
  • Custom Favicon
  • Upload an .ico file for the favicon.
